- Someone is hurting the student
- The student wants to hurt someone
- The student wants to hurt themselves

Restorative Practice
The middle school years are a time of rapid social emotional growth that includes expanding interpersonal relationships and the need to resolve inevitable conflicts. JMS counselors utilize practices like restorative conversations and restorative mediations to guide students through the process of reflecting on their mistakes and behaviors and the ways to repair harm to others.
The WARM approach enables students and staff a consistently simple way to implement restorative practice.
