Basketball Tryouts

"Jefferson Middle School Boys’ Basketball Tryouts will be on October 15th and 16th from 3:00pm-4:30pm in the Main Gym.  *Physical and Concussion Course Needed by Tryouts.  No Exceptions!  The Concussion page on the physical IS NOT the same as the concussion course.

Eligibility: 2.0 GPA for Quarter 1 with NO F’s.  Quarter 1 ends on October 1st.  You will need the following for tryouts: Basketball Shoes, Water, Completed Physical, Completed Concussion Course Certificate and Grade Eligibility.

Boys Basketball Practice is held every non-game day from 3:05 to 5:00 in the main gym.

Athletes should bring their own water and light comfortable clothing.

NMAA states that a 2.0 GPA will qualify for students for selection to the team, but JMS Athletics has established a 2.5 GPA policy for students to be able to participate in games. We appreciate your support in this matter in holding our student/athletes to this higher standard.
