Tryout Dates

Girls Volleyball

6th grade= Tuesday August 19th

7th grade= Wednesday August 20th

8th grade= Thursday August 21st

*Tryouts will take place in the main gym from 3-4:30pm. 

Boys Basketball

Start date is October 14th, 2025. Basketball tryouts will be:

6th grade= Tuesday October 14th 

7th & 8th grade= Wednesday October 15th

*Tryouts will take place in the main gym from 3-4:30pm. 

Girls Basketball

Girls Basketball Start Date is January 6th, 2025. Girls basketball tryouts will be:

6th grade= Thursday January 8th

7th & 8th grade= Friday January 9th

*Tryouts will take place in the main gym from 3-4:30pm. 

Track

Track Season Start date is Monday March 2nd, 2025

Track practice will be in the main gym from 3-4:30pm. 

All Sports Requirements

• All sports require students to receive a physical and be cleared to play. (Turn-in the physical to Mr. Wade)

All of the forms you will need can be found on the aps.edu athletics section: All must be complete and turned in to the Athletic Director (TBA) to be eligible.

REQUIRED: Complete the Concussion for Students course on nfhslearn.com. You must create an account and click on Order Course (no charge). Print the certificate when the course is completed or e-mail it to the Athletic Director - Bo Wade - bo.wade@aps.edu.
