Great news to our Jets Cyberbots Robotics Team Firewall!  The team won the 2024 Robotics Challenge Championship!

The Robotics Challenges were sponsored by the AFRL (Air Force Research Lab) New Mexico STEM Outreach.

The Jefferson teams did well with all the tasks in Canvas Challenge Modules and Quizzes, and the EXPO Robotics challenges where students were given 5 to 15 minutes to code each of the obstacle courses.

Here's one of the challenges in the EXPO that the team has to write, test and modify their codes in a limited time.  But they got it through the challenge in 5 minutes.

Jefferson Jets: Clear the Debris Challenge

The event was held earlier today, May 10, 2024 at the Air Force Base on Maxwell/Gibson.  30 teams were qualified to compete in the EXPO Robotics.

Excellent job to the following students:

    Gray Stansbury

     Mateo Madrid Larrañaga

     Grey Brayton

     Mateo Rodriguez

   Coach:  Jay Penn

Thank you so much for your support!

So proud of these students for what they have learned and accomplished!  They were so motivated to learn and do the tasks.

Way to go, Jets!

Robot Jets Win!
